Imran Akram
Senior Associate
Imran focuses on payments technologies, ecommerce and gaming. He was part of the team that invested in German online gaming company Innogames and continues to be actively involved. While at growth equity firm General Atlantic he was part of the team that invested in Dutch online payments company GlobalCollect, which was successfully sold in 2010.
He got his business basic training at Bain & Company in the London and Johannesburg offices. He also worked in Citigroup's European Securitisation team, where he worked on financing for KKR's Tenovis acquisition.
Imran holds an MEng in Engineering, Economics and Management from Christ Church, Oxford.
